Oil on Canvas
Dressed in designer brands and wearing a mask that speaks as much of fear as it does of a craving for attention, the protagonist teeters on the thin line between individuality and conformity. The cartoonish features and price tags on their clothing expose the irony of modern existence: while striving for self-determination, they become pawns of consumer culture. This painting, a fusion of classical artistry and urban aesthetics, reflects the ambivalence of our time: Are we the creators or the victims of our own consumer-driven world?
